Dennis CortezFNP

Dennis Cortez is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing Family Medicine since 2017. He is passionate about educating and empowering his patients to make educated health decisions. Dennis is inspired to go beyond simply treating symptoms by working closely with patients to build trust and create personal care plans. He treats his patients with respect, empathy, and active listening while addressing their physical, emotional, and social health.

Dennis joined the Culinary Health Center to serve the Culinary community and support the diverse community that helps this city thrive. He values being part of a team that provides compassionate, inclusive, and patient-centered care. He enjoys making healthcare accessible and comfortable for people of all backgrounds. Before joining our team, Dennis worked as a Nurse Practitioner for Dignity Health and Optum.

In his free time, Dennis enjoys traveling to explore new places, discovering new local restaurants, and spending meaningful time with his family.
