Lab

Lab services are available to all primary care and pediatric patients at the Culinary Health Center. Lab tests are common. They help doctors check for certain diseases and conditions. They are also used to check if you are healthy during your yearly physical.

During your visit, your primary care doctor or provider will give you a lab order to take to the lab. The paperwork will let our lab know what tests you need. Some tests require you to fast (or avoid eating or drinking) before your lab test. Check with your healthcare provider if youʼre unsure.

Some of the common lab tests offered are:

• Routine labs such as blood draws and urine collection (most lab orders fit into this category)
• Glucose tolerance testing (up to 3 hours)
• Pediatric draws
• H. Pylori breath test
