I strive to understand patients' experiences and feelings genuinely and responding with kindness, care, and supportive communication. My goal is to educate patients about their health and the treatments available to them so they can make informed decisions about their care.

Shermeka Tubbs is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She has helped people for over since 2009 as an ICU nurse. She also worked 5 years on a team that helps in emergencies. Shermeka cares about the whole person, body, and mind. She listens to her patients, respects their culture, and teaches them how to stay healthy. Her goal is to help people understand their health, so they feel strong and supported.

Shermeka joined the Culinary Health Center because she wanted to work with a caring and diverse team. She loves that the health centers help hardworking people and focus on giving great care to everyone. Before joining our team, Shemeka worked as a Nurse Practitioner in an Emergency Room.

When she’s not working, Shermeka enjoys traveling, roller skating, and spending time with her family.
