How do I make an appointment?
-
Please CALL FIRST at 702-790-8000 Monday through Saturday, 8am to 7pm.
After hours and on Sunday, we are available for any immediate health care needs through our on-call care team.
- Appointments will be available by phone, by video, or in person Monday through Saturday, 8am to 7pm. Your care team will work with you to decide the right type of visit. In many cases you will not need to drive to the health center. We can handle your needs over the phone or by video.
Why do I have to call first? Why can’t I walk in?
- Due to COVID-19, we want to keep you and our staff safe. We ask that you CALL FIRST to avoid long lines and crowds.
- Calling first helps you get to a doctor faster. Callers are given first priority and faster service.
- A call center representative will take your information, then depending on what you need, will get you the right kind of care. You may then have a visit with a doctor by phone, video, or in person.
Do I need to make an appointment for the pharmacy?
- No. You can visit the pharmacy during normal operating hours without an appointment.
- New pharmacy hours effective Monday, January 4, 2021, are Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm.
- Due to COVID restrictions (rules), you may have to wait outside or in your car when there are high volumes of patients picking up prescriptions.
Can I keep seeing the doctor I see outside of the Culinary Health Center?
-
Yes. We ask that you choose a primary care provider, either at the health center or in the network.
Reminder: A Specialist is not your primary care provider.
- If you choose to see a primary care provider in the network, we would like you to continue to see that provider for ongoing, consistent care. A relationship with your primary care provider is the best way to get comprehensive, coordinated care.
- Once you’ve chosen a primary care provider at the Culinary Health Center, we ask that you develop a relationship with your provider and not see another doctor in the network.
Do I need to make an appointment for dental services?
-
Yes, you have to CALL FIRST to make an appointment.
This includes dental emergencies.
Do I need to make an appointment for vision services?
- Yes, you have to CALL FIRST to make an appointment. This includes picking up glasses or contacts.
